First place was up for grabs between IT and Brauhaus Tue night at Palumbo.  Both teams had close to full rosters, albeit with IT missing a couple key members due to injury.  The first half was played a fast pace with both teams coming close on a couple opportunities, but not breaking through.  First half ended 0-0.  The 2^nd half was equally as competitive with the game turning into a midfield battle.  Finally Brauhaus broke through with a free kick from JP that snuck inside the far post.  1-0 BH.  IT pushed forward for an equalizer but were unable to get one in.  BH worked to keep possession and eventually got a 2^nd off a volley from Mohammad from 30 yards out that caught the pressing IT keeper off his line.  Game ended 2-0 to BH.  Pretty even and entertaining affair between 2 strong teams.  Preview of the 2018 finals?  Only time will tell.  Big thanks to Mike and “Brooklyn” Meeker for reffing a great game.
