Good game last night at Palumbo as the last 2 BVFC champs faced off.  First half ended 1-0 to the Irish as Jacob Graff netted off a rebound from a shot from Koffi Adjaglo.  Brauhaus had several good chances of their own but couldn’t get one past Ben in the IT net.  Brauhaus had more of the possession in the second half, with IT seemingly content to sit back and try to hit them on the counter.  In a classic Palumbo goal, Brauhaus netted off an IT own goal when a corner pinged off an IT defender in the midst of the typical Palumbo penalty box melee.  And that’s how it ended, 1-1 in a game that was an advertisement for all that BVFC should be:  quality football played at a tough and competitive level without any lines being crossed.  Thanks to Meeker and Mike D for reffing.
